Lewis Burns is an artist who is known right
across Australia for his Australian aboriginal motifs. He creates and
sells his original artworks at his gallery, Red Earth Gallery, in Dubbo,
New South Wales.

This pair are photographers of the highest
calibre, they win awards every time they turn around!
Specialising in Australian landscapes and native animals they bring an
intimate knowledge of the Australian bush to their understanding of the
art of photography. Though retired they are still active in many
community groups including photography societies and the local Show
Society.
The results are photographs that translate into extraordinary needlework
designs. |

Tanya specialises in folk art, her designs
are found on objects as diverse as milk cans and shoe boxes!
She has a fondness for Australian native wildflowers and prefers
painting those, although her birds are delightful too.
Tanya paints the artwork for the needlework designs on black cardboard
as milk cans are difficult to hold still and squish flat for
translation! |

Dorothy paints mainly in watercolour and
sells her work in shops and galleries around Central Western New South
Wales.
She favours garden and domestic scenes and landscapes and is
particularly well known for her watercolour studies of flowers. |

Noelene is a country lady living in Dubbo,
NSW. Her interest in art started in early childhood. She first joined
the Art Society in 1977, and has had training at TAFE College and
Charles Sturt University in fine arts.
Over the years Noelene has achieved many 1st, 2nd and Highly Commended
Awards in all mediums and is well known for her Australian scenes, birds
and animals. Noelene currently holds pastel workshops on a regular
basis. |

Glen was born in Walgett, in Kamilaroi
country. Now in his early thirties and based in Dubbo, he has been
painting for more than twenty years.
Glen paints in both traditional and contemporary styles, using both
earth tones and the brighter colours available now. |

Daisy has been interested in painting for
all of her life. Once her family grew up she spent more time indulging
in this fascinating hobby.
Working with colour is a happy and rewarding activity. Flowers are her
favourite subject and she has painted these in oil, watercolours, pastel
and porcelain. |

After many years of study and teaching art
Sue developed a love for traditional landscape and portaiture in oil. In
recent years she has found the exciting challenge of still life, flowers
and landscapes in watercolour.
Sue has successfully exhibited in many private and public exhibitions.
Now living back in Dubbo, she is an active member of the Dubbo Arts and
Craft Society and Studio 8. |

Polly was born in Dubbo and has lived most
of her life on a property in Far Western NSW. She has been painting
since the early 1980's. She is a largely self taught artist who has
escaped the constraints of formal training and has gone on to develop
her own unique style.
Polly's inspiration comes from many sources, her environment is filled
with bursts of colour, showing the love of the landscape, expressed in
waves of morning colour and light.
Polly has had many successful exhibitions and exhibits in numerous
galleries. Her paintings can be found in the homes and offices of
international dignitaries, members of Parliament and prominent business
people. She now lives in Dubbo with her husband and operates "The Clay
Pan Gallery". |

Jody has created a number of original
designs directly to needlework charts, ranging from silhouettes to
dragons and mosaic styles. |

Robin is the owner of Orana Originals and
creates the hook rug designs as well as creating the needlework charts
from originals artworks provided by other artists.
Robin also works hard on raising an energetic son who shows early
promise as a designer in his own right. You can see some of Andrew's
